President
The President serves as the chief executive officer of ASVC, overseeing board activities, representing the student body in college governance, and advocating for student interests at all levels.
Vice President
The Vice President supports the President and oversees the Office of Internal Affairs, ensuring smooth operations within ASVC. This role is also responsible for planning a semesterly public forum, providing students with an opportunity to voice concerns, ask questions, and engage in open dialogue with ASVC leadership.
Director of Administration
The Director of Administration manages meeting agendas, minutes, and board documentation, ensuring all ASVC activities are organized and well-documented.
Director of Finance
The Director of Finance manages ASVC’s budget, oversees financial records, and ensures appropriate allocation of funds to benefit the student body. This position also sits on the Ventura College Budget and Resources Committee, providing input on budgetary decisions that impact students.
Director of External Affairs
The Director of External Affairs represents ASVC at regional, state, and national meetings, including serving as the SSCCC (Student Senate for California Community Colleges) student delegate. This position advocates for Ventura College students on broader issues and fosters connections with other community college organizations.
Director of Student Clubs and Organizations
This director supports all student clubs and organizations by managing club registrations, funding requests, and coordinating Inter-Club Council meetings.
Director of Equity and Inclusion
The Director of Equity and Inclusion promotes a welcoming and inclusive campus environment by addressing equity-related issues. This role takes the lead on planning identity month programming, advancing initiatives tied to Ventura College’s Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) designation, and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Director of East Campus
The Director of East Campus advocates for and creates programming that supports the unique needs of East Campus students. This position works to strengthen connections between East and Main Campus, ensuring that East Campus students feel heard, engaged, and supported.
Director of Public Relations
The Public Relations Officer manages ASVC’s communications, including social media, marketing, and outreach, to keep students informed and engaged.
Director of Community Relations
The Community Relations Officer strengthens partnerships between Ventura College and the local community by promoting student engagement in community events and initiatives.
Director of Events and Activities
The Events and Activities Officer plays a vital role in creating engaging campus experiences. This position is responsible for maintaining an updated volunteer sign-up list, assisting with campus event planning, and coordinating vendor setup to ensure successful events that foster student engagement and school spirit.
Director of Athletics Liaison
